I’m a trained educator with more than two decades experience teaching. My career has been deeply rooted in international education. I spent 15 years living in Madrid, where I owned and operated LanguageLabs from 2002 to 2017, working alongside a team of 12 expert teachers and a wide range of corporate clients such as GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Sanofi-Aventis, Famar and Telefonica.

During those years, we taught English, Spanish, and French through one-to-one coaching, small-group classes, intensive language programs, online courses, and immersive language experiences abroad designed specifically for executives and business professionals. Working so closely with professionals from different industries taught me that effective language learning has to be relevant, practical, and built around the individual—not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

I also spent 13 years working in private international schools, where I developed a firsthand understanding of what it means to learn, teach, and communicate across cultures. grounds around the world. It taught me that language is about far more than vocabulary and grammar; it’s about understanding context, building relationships, finding your voice, and having the confidence to participate fully in another culture. That perspective continues to shape the way I approach language coaching today.

What I love most is working with students to help them achieve something they once thought was out of reach—whether that's leading a meeting in English, having a conversation in Spanish, preparing for a presentation, traveling with confidence, or simply feeling comfortable expressing themselves in another language.
